About this project

Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland-reported activity in Vietnam. The objective is to improve the capacity of electricity supply to meet the increasing load demand in the future, reduce power loss, ensure quality and reliability of electricity supply and reduce the selling price to households. The project has been on the drawing board for some time. The original total loan amount was estimated to be about EUR 6.0 million (1999). The project was divided into two Ingested from the IATI Datastore, the open reporting standard published to by the development banks. The budget is a donor's planned spend, not a private capital raise.
