Take the data

5,139 clean energy projects across the Gulf, South Asia and South East Asia, 843,720 MW in total, as one file. No account, no key, no charge. Attribution is carried in every row so the file still satisfies its licences once it has left this site.

Refreshed every six hours. The JSON endpoint takes no key and is safe to call from a script.

What is not in the file

38 published projects and every institution record are held back. Their sources are public and each one is linked on its own page, but public is not the same permission as redistributable: a tender notice or a company announcement can be read and cited without its contents being licensed for release as a dataset. Rather than exporting them with a caveat attached, they are left out and counted here.

Browse them on the projects and investors pages, where every record carries its source link.

Terms

  • Attribute the original source, not us. Each row names the dataset the facts came from and the licence it carries. Credit that dataset. Credit Solandor for the compilation if you wish, but the underlying obligation runs to the source.
  • Capacity figures are a floor. Several upstream datasets are periodic snapshots rather than live feeds. Treat a figure as the last published value, not today's.
  • Nothing here is financial advice or an offer. It is a directory of published facts. It grades no project and recommends no investment.
  • No contact details are included, in the file or anywhere on the site. Introductions are requested through us, with both sides' knowledge.
