Not yet built

The pipeline

1516 clean energy projects on record are not yet operating, 553,161 MW in total. That is more capacity than the 344,867 MW already running across 3661 operating projects. Every record names the public dataset it came from.

A pipeline is not a forecast. 97,755 MW of this is under construction and committed. The rest sits at earlier stages, where announcement and delivery are very different things. The ladder below is ordered by certainty, least to most.

Questions about the pipeline

How much clean energy capacity is under development in the region?+

Solandor holds 1516 clean energy projects that are not yet operating across the Gulf, South Asia and South East Asia, totalling 553,161 MW. That is 62% of all capacity on record. Of it, 97,755 MW is under construction, which is the portion with money committed.

Does a project in the pipeline mean it will be built?+

No. The stages differ enormously in certainty. A project at concept has been announced and may never proceed; one under construction is committed and being built. Solandor keeps them separate for that reason and never presents a combined figure as though it were built capacity.

Where does the pipeline data come from?+

Every record traces to a named public dataset or a source page for that project, listed on the sources page. Solandor compiles and attributes; it does not estimate capacity or invent stages. Browsing is free and no account is required.
