Implementing partner: European Commission. <p>The overall objective of the project is to promote new technology in order to improve energy efficiency and modernise the distribution grid of Dhaka city based partially on digitalisation. For shaping the future, AFD pushes this last dimension with national utilities in transmission and in distribution sectors in many countries; and specifically in Bangladesh. The modernisation of the grid base Ingested from the IATI Datastore, the open reporting standard published to by the development banks. The budget is a donor's planned spend, not a private capital raise.
