Why some projects are missing
3,052 records in the catalogue have no plotted position. They are not missing records: they are real projects whose source publishes a name, a capacity and a country but no coordinates, which is normal for announcement filings and for datasets that put location behind registration. Nothing here is estimated or placed by geocoding a country name, because a dot in the wrong valley is worse than no dot at all. Every one of them is in the catalogue, and every figure is attributed on the sources page.
