About this project
Norad - Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation-reported activity in Nepal. Reported budget 20,731,284 . Implementing partner: Norwegian Government. South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation - Power Transmission and Distribution System Strengthening Project (SASEC -PTDSSP). The main objective is to upgrade substation capacity to allow more hydropower (environmental friendly energy) into the grid and to have better access to clean energy and reduce imports of coal electricity. The project includes a measurable Gender Action Plan. Ingested from the IATI Datastore, the open reporting standard published to by the development banks. The budget is a donor's planned spend, not a private capital raise.
